page last updated: September 25 2008.
Welcome to the software page. On here you will find all sorts of audio/midi utilities, game add-ons, sound schemes, calculation utilities, scripters, text editors, time utilities, system utilities, etc.
This page has been updated, like most other pages. As you can see, most of X-Sight's software has disappeared. This is the software that was created in AutoIt a long time ago, and that I am recreating in vb. All software on this page right now is either in autoit getting ready to be converted, or already in vb. As Autoit programs can be hacked, I've taken down all the ones that I don't want people to have the source code for until I can make it more closed source than it is right now.
x-sighting Software
- The X-Sight Timer is being implemented into our latest software title, Talking Timepiece, so is no longer available for download. It had major bugs and issues with it anyway.
- BMR Braille, started in January 2006, was created by damien of X-Sight Interactive, and Ben Mustill-Rose, who has also helped. This is currently being converted to vb6, so is not available for download yet.
- Day Calculator is also being iplemented into Talking Timepiece's calendar.
- Dectalk Scripter 5 is soon to be released. 4.3 is no longer available. Some of Dectalk Scripter's bugs will now be resolved, the syntax checker has been rewritten for a start, as has the check for updates feature. The beepback mode has been removed, the closing won't be reoccurring, and hotkeys will only work within the program now.
- Music Machine and Music Arcade are also not available for download. What's more, this software has now stopped development, as some computers don't have a PC speaker, so would be of no use. My computer is one of them, so I wouldn't be able to test it anyway.
- Notepad Autosaver is currently being converted to VB6, so is currently not available for download.
- Phonebook 2.0 is being completely rewritten and integrated into our Desktop PDA software, as is the planner. However please be patient, as phonebooks below 2 are no longer available.
- Prime Number Generator 1.1
- DCS Random Sound scheme for Windows
- The Windows XP user rights status checker is also being rewritten, and given a better name!
- Quickend is also being rewritten, and is not available at present.
- Talking Timepiece 1.0 in development - informational page only.
Other projects on the work include:
- Desktop PDA - a software organiser
- King of the Decks - a software dj mixer
- Freezip - a free zip manager
- Virtual Bank - you can track all your bank credits and debits with this. Just set them all up and the dates. Also track credit/debit card expiries and reissues.
- PassPal - a nice little password manager
- Personal AutoProgrammer - program using guis, ini files etc
- Quick Volume - adjust sound volumes with a hotkey
- TS2 Utility Pack - will replace the trackmakers. This will include the trackmakers, vehicle creators, language pack creation/checking, ip copying, ip history, server history, track/car checks, etc.
- X-Hits: Hit checker
- Average Pack - a bit pointless, give it a text file and it will calculate the averages etc.
- CryptoManic: a simple but nice encryption method
- Frequency Table Generator: generates a text file of all the different frequencies
- Midi - a midi scripter that will play a scripted midi file back.
- MiniMedia - a little media player
- Power Calculators - Calculates a sequence of numbers with the given power value.
- FunPhone - a funny phone simulator based in the UK
- Aut2VB6/VB2Aut - language conversions for autoit and vb
- AutoEditIt - an accessible editor for autoit
- Office Junk Remover - convert office-created html into tidier code
- Random Email Generator - random letters, words, names, etc made into email addresses
- Screenreader Selector - Configure for your system and choose which screenreader you want. Also includes a watcher that makes sure that you are asked to choose a screenreader when appropriate.
- Textman - another accessible editor
Abandoned software I'm working on includes software from Samuel Proulx.
Open source projects I'm currently involved in include:
- Code Librarian
- John Greer's screenreader
Custom Software
We are now offering custom software development. This could be a tweak that you may want for special needs or incompatibility issues, or perhaps you're thinking of a completely new piece of software.
We could also create libraries for development purposes, however we are very limited in this area at the moment, as we can only provide modules for VB6.
We can, however, make COM automation DLL libraries for use in your programming environment.
Please contact us on the About page through the sales department so we can come to an arrangement.
