What does the future hold for X-Sight Interactive?

page last updated: December 31 2009.

Although it is hard to predict what the future really holds, we can at least tell you what we hope for:

Software

We are currently slowing down on the software we produce in Visual Basic, as it is out of date and will apparently stop working on later versions of Windows. Instead, we are learning C++, thanks to the help of Philip Bennefall and James Bowden, who have provided us with tutorials, sample code and personal tuition on the language.
We hope to have all our games released, rewritten from scratch in C++. This will not only give us greater challenges, but the resulting software will also be a lot more stable, and compatible with later versions of Windows.

Radio

We are currently attempting to start our own radio station. For a short time we did have a successful station going, however failures to the server and the inability to contact its owner have made this task fairly difficult. However, we do not give up!

Equipment

In the distant future, we hope to get the gear together to provide the facilities of a professional recording studio. This will not only enable us to make higher quality audio, but also allows for other people to use our facilities and services to record and release their own music.

Premises

In the very distant future, we hope to obtain larger premises, for business use only, and form X-Sight Interactive into a registered company. We will have our own buildings to use as recording studios, software development centres, and maybe even have our products sold worldwide!

Final notes

Optimistic I hear you say. Yes, it may well be. However, it is true after all that people start off small and grow taller and bigger. Therefore it is possible with the right support and enthusiasm. If or when we see this day is a mystery in the present, but if we don't try, it'll never come.
